Research
As part of my research, I focus primarily on the issue of deceptive and manipulative elements in digital interfaces (dark patterns) in collaboration with the association Designers Éthiques and as part of my PhD (in progress).
I also co-organise the ‘Formes du numérique’ working group within the ‘Internet, AI and Society’ research group (GDR) at the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), which was launched in April 2026.
Currently pursuing a PhD
Since June 2025, I have been undertaking a PhD entitled ‘Modelling mechanisms of misleading design in digital services’ with the Compiègne University of Technology and the Designers Éthiques association, funded by the Fondation de France. Further information is available on the Designers Éthiques website.
Designers Éthiques
I am a member of the Designer Éthiques association, which explores digital design practices. The association works to empower designers and digital professionals to produce emancipatory, sustainable and desirable digital solutions.
Research programme on persuasive design
Since 2021, I have been co-lead of the research programme on persuasive design at Designers Éthiques.
I had the opportunity to work on and lead the guide “Concevoir sans dark patterns : guide à l’intention des designers" , published in October 2023, which aims to equip digital professionals with the tools they need. I also led the Alternative Patterns project on notifications, published in September 2025, which aims to propose alternatives to standard notifications.
As part of this, I am co-organiser of a research group on topics relating to dark patterns for PhD students from various disciplines, launched in September 2025.
